WORD SELECTION
You will choose three emotions. Try to pick something more interesting than "sad" or "mad" because it will make the rest of the activity easier.
Beside words you choose, write one sentence explaining why you picked the word or just defining the word. Once you have three words, you will narrow that down to one. Your criteria for picking is up to you!
Once you have your word you will set out to take as many pictures related to that word as you can in 25 mins. Play around with filters, exposure and other settings on your camera!

PICTURE SELECTION
-----NOTE: NO FACES MAY BE USED IN ANY PICTURES TAKEN-----

Now that you have a plethora of pictures, it is time to narrow it down to THREE choices. You will upload these THREE choices into the shared folder provided (click here to find it). These THREE pictures will be shown to the whole class for the next step in the process. While you wait for others CHOOSE ONE PICTURE as your best representation of the word chosen.
You will be required to write 3 sentences about why the picture you chose is the best pick for your word. Your first sentence should identify what is in the picture. |
SLIDESHOW SELECTION
We will all now watch a slideshow of the pictures that everyone took. We will watch the slideshow twice. The first time you are on the lookout for pictures that are visually appealing to you. The second time through you will select a picture to do the next steps with.
Once you have chosen this picture you will write 2-3 sentences on why you chose it.
-----IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU REMEMBER THE NUMBER OF THE PICTURE THAT YOU SELECTED. ---
